Sisters age 15 and 11 charged for killing their older brother

What made these two young girls want to shoot their older brother?

mean treatment they told police. The 15 year old claims to say he beat her and locked her in a room. Later on when he fell asleep she took a gun and shot him while her 11 year old sister assisted her. They are both charged with premeditated murder.
