Houston celebrates Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with two parades

The 37 annual mlk parade kicked off in downtown houston with the mlk youth parade on saturday which included many many awesome performing marching bands and everything celebrating mr.Martin luther king jr.Then on sunday they had the annual “MLK BATTLE OF THE BANDS” which is when marching bands from here or around the state compete with other marching bands and put a live field show or a battle either in the field or in the parking lot to see who really is the best.and finally on monday they had the “MLK GRANDE PARADE” which included many things to remember MLK like cars,big statue of libertys,and more Marching Bands .people say that it was weird having 2 parades but as long as everyone had a good time it really doesn’t matter.
