Arizona baby born without eyes

It was a shocking moment for an Arizona couple finding out their baby was born with no eyes. When baby Richie Lopez was born, hospital staff thought his face was swollen. Once they did an MRI test on the baby they found out that eyes weren’t opening because the eyes sockets were empty. Doctors did surgery to put in expanders in his eyes and that would allow them to grow. For now he uses certain toys and his parents hope that someday he will be able to see.
