Fear of “Pending Apocalypse”

Utah police discovered five bodies in a Utah home when an 18-year old sibling wanted to visit his parents. Parents Benjamin and Kristi Strack along with their 14-year old son were found dead on the bed and the two other children were found dead on the other mattress besides the bed. It is said that the parents killed themselves and their children because they were “scared of the evil in this world” and were petrified of the “apocalypse” that was soon to happen. In my opinion how can these parents do that? They were just children, they had more to live for.
