  Many woman have been eager to join isis. Women are used for police control. They write about how people are doing in training and how to use guns. Isis uses the social media to catch a woman's eye. They post recruiting videos promising women the chance to a new society. Some say that women do this for the adventure of it. -emily

Mother cuts her children’s throats

  Christina booth has been charged with attempted murder after authorities said she cut her children’s throats.She cut her three children, a 2-year-old and 6-month-old twins. The reason she did this was for an attempt to keep her children quiet because they were crying and making noise to the point where she couldn’t take it anymore. The three children were taken to a local hospital where they underwent surgery and are now in stable condition and will be placed in protective custody. This is an awful tragedy that happened, especially because they were just children, and the parents deserve harsh punishment.

3 dead in Mexico maternity hospital blast  

   On Thursday in a hospital southwest of New Mexico there was was a terrible gas explosion that killed 3 people. The hospital was even close to collapsing after the explosion. There was 54 people who were injured, 22 of the people were children. Also it is said that there are still an unknown number of how many people are still trapped in the building. Hopefully the people are soon to be saved.

Chris Pratt as 'Indiana Jones'?

Disney is considering the "Guardians of the Galaxy" star to be the new "Indiana Jones". For the record, this is not the first time this discussion has been had. Months ago, Latino Review reported that Bradley Cooper was being considered for the Indiana Jones role. It would have been  part of a James Bond-ian recasting, in which different actors would try to get the part for. Pratt didn't even know he was under consideration to play Indiana Jones. When you’re that good actor, opportunities are everywhere.

Woman who married herself in Houston

Yasmin Eleby said if she didn’t find love by the age of forty she stop looking for love and marry herself. And well that’s what she did.  “I didn’t think the idea of me being confident… and loving myself would somehow offend so many other people,” she stated. All of her family was ok with it but they werent feeling the love they hoped they would have felt if she was marrying a guy. She says the marriage was not about bashing men, and in-fact she’s still open to there being a Mr. Right. But in the meantime, she’s just ready to be Mrs. Right now.

THE WORLDS TALLEST,FASTEST WATER SLIDE

168 feet tall, this is the worlds tallest/fastest/longest  waterslide ever  verruckt is the name of the ride, verruckt is german for “INSANE”, this ride is taller than the statue of liberty and even taller than niagara falls. This ride features a  17-story drop and a five story  uphill  section, the top speed of this ride is 65 MPH. Its located in Kansas city, Kansas, imagine going down in this ride.

3 DEAD IN MEXICO MATERNITY HOSPITAL BLAST

Apparently a gas truck exploded close to hospital and the almost half of the hospital exploded. the good thing is that they say no one was in the hospital when the explosion went off. but apparently some say that there was a woman and a man that were in the explosion.THE OTHER IS UNKNOWN.

A former NBA player know as Carmelo Anthony who plays for the New York Knicks will be representing them in his 8th All-Star appearance. Carmelo has averaged 24.o points in his games, with 6.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists. Anthony will be joined in the starting lineup by the Toronto Raptors’ Kyle Lowry, Washington Wizards’ John Wall, Cleveland Cavaliers’ LeBron James and Chicago Bulls’ Pau Gasol. This is the first time the Eastern Conference has had 2 starters since the year of 2000. Carmelo is one amazing player that can help our ALL-STAR team win another season of basketball.

Fear of “Pending Apocalypse”

Utah police discovered five bodies in a Utah home when an 18-year old sibling wanted to visit his parents. Parents Benjamin and Kristi Strack along with their 14-year old son were found dead on the bed and the two other children were found dead on the other mattress besides the bed. It is said that the parents killed themselves and their children because they were “scared of the evil in this world” and were petrified of the “apocalypse” that was soon to happen. In my opinion how can these parents do that? They were just children, they had more to live for.

Family poisoned themselves because they feared ‘pending apocalypse’, examiners find

SPRINGVILLE, Utah — Medical examiners have ruled that a family of five found dead in their Utah home all died from poisoning, likely because the parents were concerned about a “pending apocalypse.”Parents Benjamin and Kristi Strack died from self-inflicted poisoning,according to a report by KSTU which cited authorities and documents released on Tuesday.The Strack’s 18-year-old son found all five bodies in the parents’ bedroom on Sept. 27. The parents and the 14-year-old were found in the bed while the other two children were found on mattresses next to the bed, according to the Springville Police Chief J. Scott Finlayson.

Mother cuts her childrens throats to quiet them

A young mother in Washington has been charged with murder after authorities found out she tried to slash her childrens throats to keep them quiet. Christina called 911 to report that her three children wouldn’t stop crying and needed medical attention. Police say they found the kids at the home with their throats cut up and them crying uncontrollably. The kids were sent to the hospital where they are in stable condition and will be put in protective custody.

Maternity blast in Mexico

On thursday 3 people were killed after an gas explosion at a hospital southwest in Mexico. At least 54 people are injured, including 22 children, and an unknown number of people were trapped. The reason this happened was that a truck was supplying gas to the hospital when apparently a hose burst and the resulting leak caused an explosion, the company Gas Express Nieto, a natural gas provider among the four biggest gas distributors in Mexico, according to the company. The red cross reported that 23 ambulances and 40 rescuers were recruited.

 Texas students told to lower pants for poop inspection, parents outraged

            A group of students at an elementary school in Texas were apparently asked to lower their pants for a poop inspection on Monday.School educators told two dozen students they were regularly finding feces on the gym floor. The students were then separated into groups of boys and girls and ordered to “pull down their pants” so administrators could “check if they could find anything.” The parents don’t want this to happen again.

Barcelona clinched a spot in the Copa del Rey semifinals with a 3-2 win in the second leg of their quarterfinal clash with Atletico Madrid on Wednesday. This means that they advance and eliminate atletico the Madrid.Victory came with 2 goals from Neymar.Atletico struggled the second half since short one man.Second half they played with 10 players which probably was the reason they lost game.Now Barcelona advances to the Copa del Rey semifinal.

New England get hit by snow

New England get hits by this random storm. You didn't need to wake up to get up and get coffee to wake up all you have howling wind that was in the air. New York was happy to have snow to hit them when they wake up . The other half of the state weren't surprised to see the snow outside of their window. To me that would be a sign of relief because we really need snow .     

A helicopter that can search mars

This little helicopter might be sended into mars to check out the place but from the air.  

They are still testing the helicopter so it will no fail when they send it up into space.

 It will be a success if they happen to accomplish the mission of the little helicopter

Lady survives the Auschwitz concentration camp and lives to tell her story

   This lady Eva Mozes lives to tell her story about her life in  Auschwitz. She was only 10-years-old when she was sent to the concentration camp. She describes all the horrifying things she remembers as a child. She lost friends and family while in the camp and tells us about the injections that were purposely put in her to kill her, but yet some how she lived on and a few years of being in  Auschwitz they were freed. luckily, Eva survived this camp to tell us this moving story - George Sanchez

this couple was last seen looking for a vehicle. another case was found around the same area. two bodies were found and their car was in the lake.the bodies have not been recognized.be careful where you go.-emily

A student body slams teacher for taking his phone away

a 16-year-old student got his phone taken up by his 62-year-old teacher. the student didn't take it lightly, so he decided to body slam his teacher. theres a lot of stories of the teachers causing the problems but that wasn't the problem. shortly after the student was arrested and charged with assault. Be sure to think before you take action.

Mother Kills  Kids

Australian woman is said to have killed 8 children in her home. The youngest of the kids being 18 months. The cops were called to the women's house early morning after people reported hearing an injured woman. When the police arrived the children were found. The injured woman was then taken to the hospital where her wounds were being treated. She is still not in custody but is being questioned by authorities. In my opinion why would someone take the life of another? Like J. Cole said “tryna take a life is you god… i don't think so”.

Huge asteroid flies by Earth

our solar system is filled with asteroids,and nasa says that a big one is coming close to earth,but don't worry it won't hit earth but well be able to get a good glimpse of the asteroid.while asteroids pass by earth all the time this is the largest asteroid that will come close to earth until 2027  and scientist want to take a chance to take a look at this big opportunity scientist dr paul  chodas says that” we will want to be prepared just in case an asteroid really hits the earth”and that “this asteroid we will have to keep an eye on because in a thousand years it might have a chance to hit the earth”but for now just sit back and watch this asteroid pass by.

Jet crashes

  A greek air force F-16 jet crashed at a base in Los Llanos in southeastern Spain. The jet crashed on takeoff, hitting other planes on the ground during a NATO exercise. At least 10 died and about 20 were injured. There was no known purpose on why it crashed. This was a tragedy that saddened the whole NATO family.

Girl suspected of stealing diamond necklace worth $4.6 million

In Hong Kong, police are searching for a 12 year old girl and 3 adults that were involved in a $4.6 million diamond heist. While the 3 adults distracted the staff by pretending to brows through the items, the little girl that seem to be between 12 and 14 took a 117-carat diamond necklace. This isn’t something anyone can really expect from a 24 year old.

Arizona baby born without eyes

It was a shocking moment for an Arizona couple finding out their baby was born with no eyes. When baby Richie Lopez was born, hospital staff thought his face was swollen.       New york residents woke up after a blizzard relieved that there wasn't a lot of damage. Today, Tuesday morning the weather is still dangerous. Schools got canceled and a lot of people didn’t go to work. And also there is a warning about the remains in effect in some parts of Rhode Island and Massachusetts through early Wednesday morning. Massachusetts Government Charlie Baker said there were about 200 people in shelters statewide, while Cabral said Cape roads are largely clear of all but emergency vehicles. That’s good because shelters keep homeless men and woman and also dogs out of the hazardous weather.

Arizona baby born without eyes

An Arizona couple experienced the shock of a lifetime after finding out their baby was born without eyes. When baby Richie Lopez was born, hospital staff thought his face was swollen.However, after an MRI test, they found out that he wasn’t opening his eyes because his eye sockets were completely empty. Doctors performed surgery to implant expanders in his sockets, which would allow them to grow and someday hold prosthetic eyes.But for now, Richie uses special toys and is enrolled in developmental programs. He does have an optic nerve, so his parents are hopeful that he’ll one day be able to see.

Benedict Cumberbatch apologizes for 'colored actors' remark in U.S. interview.

The "12 Years a Slave" actor said he was an "idiot" and "devastated" where his choice of words during an interview with PBS Tavis Smiley. Cumberbatch told smiley "I think as far as colored actors go, it gets really difficult in the UK, and I think a lot of my friends have had more opportunities here [in the U.S.] than in the UK, and that's something that needs to change." His comments were criticized by some observers on social medias. Cumberbatch then apologize saying he did not mean to offend anyone , but give his opinion on something he thought was meant to be said by someone. We should all think before we say anything like that , but we also learn from our mistakes.

Sergio Aguza, captain of Real Madrid Castilla from Los Blancos' decision to pay Norwegian youngster Martin Odegaard so handsomely from the off. Martin is a 16 year old who got signed to play for Real Madrid. MArtin says he is excited for this opportunity that was given to him.His contract is reportedly worth £80,000 per week.Lets see if Martin could make it in the big leagues.

New York City residents woke up breathing a sigh of relief after the blizzard of 2015 dumped snow there, but had people confused. People were told to stay indoors no matter what happens. The blizzard hit Newy York and New Jersey this morning 1/27/15. Sgt. Mark Cabral from the Barnstable Police Department said "We have drifting (outside) our facility of up to 2 to 3 feet.” The weather is still hitting hard and damaging many homes and areas around it. Worcester had about 25 inches of snow falling down. Warnings are still up for Rhode Island and Massachusetts. The winds are up to 78 mph and more to come.

In fact, the blizzard warning once in effect for much of New Jersey and New York was lifted Tuesday morning.

The Miss Universe winner is …

At this year's Miss Universe pageant Miss Colombia, 22-year-old student Paulina Vega, took home the crown in Miami on Sunday night, social media was more concerned with the fate of Miss Jamaica.There were boos when 22-year-old model Kaci Fennell was announced as the fourth runner-up. Viewers immediately weighed in with why they felt Miss Jamaica had been robbed of the title. Everything from her race to her short haircut amongst the flowing manes of other contestants. If Ms. Jamaica was meant to win , she would have earned the crown fair and square. Its no shock that Ms.Colombia went home with the crown , probably worked twice as hard then her since she went home with the crown after all.

A father’s love for his daughter will move you

Brad’s five kids, DeeDee is his youngest. She adopted by the Knudsons 11 years ago. She was a daddy’s girl. Brad says, “This is one of the kindest girls I’ve ever met so that’s another reason why it hurts so bad.” His daughter received a snapchat video of two kids cursing and calling her the N-word many times. Brad had did a police report, to get in contact of the students parents and well found out the parents were ignorance because the students father said,“It was just a term”. DeeDee says she was hurt by the racist remarks, but thanks to her dad at least 50,000 people have heard his message that this kind of behavior is not acceptable.

We are one step closer to find pictures of the dwarf planet pluto.The photos we all search up took four years and 20 computers to get a close up on what pluto might actually look like.Pluto changes color with the “seasonal” change.By mid may we will get better photos than we have ever had.We will just have to wait to see all the unexpected shots.

Couple missing after posting an ad on craigslist

Atlanta- Police have identified the suspect in the case of the two missing couples who contacted a car seller on Craigslist. Elrey who is 69 and his wife june who is 66 posted an ad on craigslist for a 1966 mustang. They drove all the way to south georgia from atlanta to meet up with the person who responded to their ad. No one has heard from them since.

Kidnapped!

Cops still have not identified the woman and the kidnapper, but late at night around 3 am a woman was seen at a bank getting cash out. What seemed to be a normal night outing for some cash turned horrific when a man casual approached her car and pulled a gun out on her. The woman is forced out her car and into her trunk by the suspect. In my own opinion I don’t get why he would do such a thing. It’s a cruel world we live in.
