Six die in a fiery commuter train accident in New York

The driver got out to see what happened, and when she got back in, the Metro-North commuter hit her, sending the jeep 400 feet down the track. “The train went silent you can tell there was panic going on towards the front of the train like ‘walk back walk back walk back,’” said passenger Fred Buonocore. The woman driving the jeep died, as did five passengers on the train. “The third rail of the track came off from the explosion and went right through the car,” said New York governor Andrew Cuomo. “So it is truly a devastatingly ugly situation to see.” The wreck injured 15 people, 7 seriously.
