Cynthia Lennon, John Lennons first wife dead at 75

Cynthia married john when he was a struggling musician and was there for him when he rose to fame with the beatles. She died wednesday according to the web post by her son julian. She passed away at her home in Mallorca, Spain following a short brave battle with cancer.

John and Cynthia were married for 6 years 1962-1968 they met at an art school where she studied to be an illustrator and john practiced painting. “He was more interested in music then in art” she said. In 1968 john and cynthia split up and thats when john met yoko ono. Cynthia married three or more times after that and wrote a book about john and their marriage.
