TV show contestant and husband murdered by contractor  

    TV show contestant, Cristie Schoen-Codd, on the Food Network and her husband, Joseph “JT” Codd were both murdered by a contractor they hired who was also their neighbor who lived half-a-mile away. The couple was found in a wood stove and their bodies were destroyed. Police say the killings happened on Thursday, March 12. People were in shock to find out what had happened to the TV celebrity. She was on a cooking show and almost made it to the finals. - George Sanchez
